I am associate professor in education at Uppsala University in Sweden. I also have a PhD in mathematics with specialization in history and pedagogy of mathematics. For almost 20 years, I have researched the history of mathematics education. The research has largely dealt with curriculum reforms of Swedish school mathematics during the 20th century; how they have been initiated, prepared and implemented and what impact they have had.
