B. Sumeyye Kurutas is currently a Ph.D. student in Education specializing in Mathematics Education at the University of Delaware. She is interested in learning more about how we can reinforce teacher learning, and how teachers' learning turns into practice. Currently, she is working with Drs. James Hiebert, Erica Litke, and Lynsey Gibbons on the National Science Foundation-funded teacher learning project “Improving Professional Development in Mathematics by Understanding the Mechanisms that Translate Teacher Learning into Student Learning”.
