Indra had been a teacher for 19 years. She worked at Curriculum Development Unit, Fiji and was engaged in Writing, Implementing and conducting Impact analysis of a number of Ministry of Education initiatives and funded projects. She has also served in administrative roles at school and University level. She is currently pursuing PhD in Education focusing on mathematics pedagogy and teacher professional development. She has also served as teaching assistant for postgraduate courses at the University of the South Pacific.
