Anna Payne
Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education - University of Wyoming
Professional Bio
Dr. Payne is an Assistant Professor at the Science and Mathematics Teaching Center, working with professional learning for mathematics teachers. She also supervises the middle level mathematics master’s program. She previously taught middle and high school mathematics and has worked with students at all grade levels. She has provided professional learning for gifted teachers through the Belin-Blank Center (University of Iowa). Anna has presented at numerous conferences at the state, national, and international levels on gifted and mathematics education.
Anna's research interests are in the area of mathematical giftedness
and creativity, as well as working with twice exceptionality in the classroom.
