Shuk-kwan Leung is a Professor and former Director of the Institute of Education at National Sun Yat-sen University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where she also serves as Chair of the Center for Teacher Education. She has had experiences as a teacher in Hong Kong and as a professor in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Her scholarly interests include problem solving/posing, teacher education, and, parental involvement. She serves on the editorial board of Mathematics Teaching and Learning: An International Journal and IJSME and, has been active in international forums and has journal publications and invited commentary for books. She publishes books for teachers and parents and won awards in research and teaching; including funded project award from the National Science Council of Taiwan, university outstanding teaching awards, and a distinguished supervisor award from the Ministry of Education. She serves as a review panel member for the National Science Council. She presented an invited lecture for ICME 14 (Shanghai, 2021).
