Samantha Morrison obtained her PhD in Primary Mathematics at Wits University. She is a senior researcher and project manager for the SARChI Numeracy Chair (Wits Maths Connect Primary project) at the same University. She is involved in a number of research and development projects within the Chair and leads the Base Ten Thinking project currently being implemented in 15 districts in Gauteng and 4 districts in KwaZulu Natal.
