Mateja SABO JUNGER, mag.prof.math, is a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb. She teaches Mathematics and Didactics of Mathematics for future elementary school teachers. Currently is finishing a doctorate on the topic of Mathematical modeling in lower grades of elementary school mathematics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Maribor, the University of Maribor under the mentorship of Professor Alenka Lipovec, PhD. Her research interest includes the introduction of mathematical modeling in the lower grades of elementary school, as well as mathematics in the preschool education system.
