Maman Fathurrohman was born in Serang, Province of Banten, Republic of Indonesia. He studied at TK PGRI (graduated in 1989), SDN IX Cilegon (graduated in 1995), and SLTP Madinatul Hadid in City of Cilegon (graduated in 1998), then continued at SMUN 1 Serang (graduated in 2001). After that, he continued his education at the Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education at Yogyakarta State University (graduated in 2005), parallel with the Bachelor's degree in Management at Gadjah Mada University (graduated in 2006). In 2006, he was appointed as a Lecturer, Prospective Civil Servants (CPNS) in the Department of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Continuing studies through Certificate in Mobile Learning at Saga University, Japan (graduated in 2007), Master’s degree of Mathematics at Institut Teknologi Bandung (graduated in 2011), Doctor of Philosophy’s degree at the University of Wollongong, Australia (graduated in 2014), and Certificate in University Management at the University of Oxford, UK (graduated in 2017). Leadership experience gained as Head of the Department of Mathematics Education (year 2014 to 2016), Director of Untirta Press (year 2013 to 2020) in parallel with the Coordinator of the Center for Curriculum Development and Learning, LP3M (year 2016 to 2020), Head of Center for Curriculum and Books Affair, Balitbang and Books Affair, Ministry of Education and Culture, Republic of Indonesia (year 2020 to 2021), and Head of Center of Excellence (PUI-PT) Design and Development of Educational Media. As of March 1 2023, he has appointed to position as Professor of Mathematics Education
