Lisa is a phD candidate in Mathematics Education (focus: primary school) at the University of Münster, Germany. She studied to become a primary school teacher (subjects: Mathematics, German and English), receiving her Bachelor of Arts in 2018 and her Master of Education in 2021.
Since then, she has been working as a research assistant, giving seminars and tutorials for future primary school teachers in Mathematics education. Her research focuses on statistics education at the primary level and in particular on the role of contextual knowledge for the critical interpretation of statistical information amongst young learners.
