PhD in mathematics and science communicator, I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science at the University of Chile, here I coordinates the career of secondary preservice teachers in Mathematics and Physics. I research on mathematics education, in particular the gap between high school and university in mathematics through visualisation and mathematical work. I am member of the collective women mathematicians of Chile and the Chilean Association of Journalists and Professionals for Science Communication, Achipec. On March 1st I launches my first mathematical popularisation book in spanish, La gran aventura del conocimiento. Un paseo con las matemáticas en cuatro estaciones. In english: "The great adventure of knowledge. A walk with mathematics in four seasons", in collaboration with Constanza Rojas-Molina for Planeta Group Chile.
