Associate Professor of Mathematics and Mathematics Education, State University of São Paulo (UNESP), Rio Claro campus, since 2010. As a graduate in Mathematics, Masters and PhD in Mathematics Education at State University of São Paulo, Heloisa has experience in Mathematics teacher education and her main research interests are interdisciplinary discussions in Mathematics Education, especially History of Brazilian Mathematical Education, Philosophy and Teacher Education. She is one of the leaders of the research group ‘História Oral e Educação Matemática’ (www.ghoem.org). She did a postdoctoral internship at School of Education at University of Cape Town, with a focus on decolonial studies and posthumanist philosophy. She is currently coordinator in the Graduate Program in Mathematics Education at Unesp, Rio Claro campus.
