Elizar has been a lecturer in the Mathematics Education Department since January 2018. She earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics education from Syiah Kuala University in 2007. In 2012, she completed her Master of Education focusing on mathematics and technology, followed by her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in 2017, both from the University of Adelaide in South Australia. Her research interests encompass higher-order thinking (HOT) skills in mathematics, quantitative research, large-scale assessment, Rasch analysis, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), and Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM). Additionally, she is passionate about promoting academic integrity among university students. In her academic role, Elizar actively encourages students to pursue further education overseas and seek scholarships.
