Chris Niven has worked in both the UK and Australia looking to empower teacher’s journeys serving currently as an Executive Coach and previously as Head of Professional Practice and Head of Maths. He is passionate about the support of teachers which he hopes builds capacity, future leaders and continuous learners. Chris was the recipient of the AMSI Choose Maths: Teaching Excellence Award in 2019, recognised also on the 2019 Educator Hot List and with one of The Educator’s Rising Star awards 2018 for leadership. 2021 also saw Chris delivering as the overseas Outstanding Educator-In-Consultancy for the Academy of Singapore Teachers. He has also presented nationally and state wide on topics from Lifting Maths out of the textbook, Mixed Reality in Maths to designing innovative Maths classrooms. With students at the heart of what we do his why commits “to empower and impact the teacher toolkit, ready to foster a love of learning and challenge in our classes.”
