Dr Cate Challen is a senior lecturer in mathematics education at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. A former high school science and mathematics teacher, Cate has dedicated her work in higher education to supporting mathematics teachers to deepen their pedagogical content knowledge for teaching through inquiry cycles. Her research interests include lesson study and networked improvement communities, inclusive assessment for learning approaches in mathematics and teacher professional development.
